Dr. Anne Merkel Energy Psychologist Coaches You to Use N-hanced EFT Energy Psychology!

Often I find that my clients are experiencing symptoms based on their emotional attachment to the suffering of others. This can come from early childhood impressions, where a child takes on emotions, conditions, beliefs, and predispositions of those around him or her. It can also be the result of some very sensitive people who empathize with the suffering of others and end up suffering that way too.

Recently I focused an N-hanced EFT  session on a client diagnosed with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. I first used kinesiological testing to ask her body exactly what she was reacting to and whether the pain and fatigue symptoms were based on emotion, toxin, or nutrition.  I focused on her emotion-based attachment to her mother’s suffering with similar symptoms as her own. Her body alerted me to the fact that consciously she intended health and vitality for herself and victimhood was not part of her profile. Subconsciously she had taken on the burden of her mother’s suffering, as well as the dynamics between her parents, as her father became the major care-giver for her mother. She held many emotions in her body and they manifested in ways that reflected her mother’s suffering.

We focused a full N-hanced EFT (EFT + some Neuro Emotional Technique) session clearing her connection in that unhealthy way to her mother’s suffering and to her parents’ emotional dance. At the end of our short tapping session she reported that her emotional charge and the pain associated with it had gone from a high 9-10 down to about a 2.

We often carry emotional burdens for others without even knowing it. In this case the emotion brought on very painful and debilitating symptoms similar to those of my client’s mother. Now that she is free of that emotional load she can recalibrate to hold her own vibration and heal her body. And, my hope is that she continues to tap whenever any pain returns in her own “body memory”, or when she revisits the emotional pain carried by her mom.

Over the years I have coached hundreds of EFT energy therapy practitioners helping them to “tune up” their technique. Starting with classic Gary Craig EFT/ Emotional Freedom Technique and then customizing it to my own style of N-hanced EFT, I have worked with practitioners world-wide who wish to be more efficient, more specific in their tapping, and get faster, more reliable results.

I found EFT when I needed a tool I could use easily on myself, and it works! I have combined it with my original meridian-focused modality of NET/ Neuro Emotional Technique because I feel that NET gets faster, easier, permanent results and takes out the guess work often found in EFT. I’ve also added additional acupuncture points with rave reviews on their effects.

It is my pleasure to support other practitioners of EFT by offering a short laser-coaching tune-up in addition to my popular e-book Best Practices in Energy Management. You may register for this package by going to: http://is.gd/EFTtuneup.

I also like regularly sharing EFT tips on my facebook page at: http://is.gd/EFTCoachPage.

These are my gift to you, and if you enjoy them, please “Like” my page and tell me so!

Emotional Freedom Technique/ EFT is distantly related to acupuncture since it uses meridian points on which to tap. Originally Dr. George Goodheart, a chiropractor, developed a way to communicate with the body’s electro-magnetic biofield, and this was called kinesiology. The field of Applied Kinesiology incorporated acupuncture meridian points with muscle testing for identifying blocked nerve and energy flow as well as ascertaining certain causes thereof. A couple of generations later Touch Field Therapy/ TFT was created by Roger Callahan, and EFT was developed by Gary Craig from that.

So, let us go back to the origins and identify a very potent point that can be used in a regular EFT tapping sequence to un-block stuck energy based on old dogma, strong subconscious beliefs, rigidity, inner needs to feel in control, among other emotional issues.

Often when I work with a client an old belief pattern rears its ugly head. In my own practice I use kinesiological testing to ask the body what is blocking it and where the block is being held in the body. In EFT you cannot easily do this, so I’d like to share a point that you can use when you know there is strong blockage but you cannot identify consciously what might be causing it.

The large intestine LI20 acupuncture point entitled “Welcoming Perfume” or “Welcome Fragrance” comes in pairs that are located on either side of the nostrils. If  you “hold your nose” as though you are getting ready to jump into water, and then gently move your thumb and finger away from the nose so that they are barely touching, then you have found the twin points.

LI20 is connected with the sinus and facial blood flow on the physical level. It corresponds often with sinus indications associated with constipation, so gently tapping the point can sometimes ease both nasal and sinus congestion as well as support elimination.

On an emotional level the large intestine often indicates a sense of “stuckness” or blockage, just like the physical constipation. It often reflects inner subconscious or learned beliefs that may or may not correspond with your conscious convictions. Gently tap on these points on either side of the nose and feel your sense of stuckness. Feel the inner blockage and struggle with control and dogmatism. As you breath out the heavy feelings while tapping you will gradually be open to breath in that “welcoming fragrance” indicated in the name for the points.

I find using the twin LI20 points to be more dynamic than tapping on the base of the index fingernail – the traditional EFT large intestine point – in many cases, so I invite you to try this and report your indications here or on my facebook page.

Whenever a client presents to me with an emotional issue, there is a story. I don’t need to hear the story in order to help clear the energy, but whenever it makes you feel better to share the details, I ask you to start tapping while you talk. Usually I choose a specific point on which we both tap while certain emotions might be coming up from the emotionally charged memories.

Why do I do this?

The best application of EFT is to tap whenever you are feeling something that you’d like to clear. In the moment of feeling the charge you can clearly indicate to the subconscious mind and electro-magnetic biofield that the emotion that is coming up is to be cleared. Whether you talk while you tap or not usually does not matter – it is all about the feeling!

So, if you are getting ready to tell a story of past trauma, hurt, pain, stress, I would ask you to tap while you talk and receive the added benefits before we even get started in our session! This saves time, creates the energetic envelope for the session, and starts the clearing work.

So, next time you tell an emotional story – whether you are working with an EFT Coach facilitator or not, start tapping at the thymus point on the sternum between the breasts at the heart chakra area. This WILL make a difference!
